The Fawad and Mahira Khan starer remake of classical Maula jat has inspired many as film makes it very huge at box office and overseas.
The Legend of Maula Jatt has amassed a lifetime collection of more than PKR 2 billion (more than USD 9 million), making it the highest-grossing Pakistani film ever. The movie made about PKR 800 million domestically and an additional PKR 1.2 billion abroad, making it both a huge smash in Pakistan and a significant success abroad. It broke multiple records, becoming the highest-earning Punjabi movie globally, the most-watched South Asian movie in Norway, and the second-highest grossing movie in the UK for 2022.
The production house also trying to realise the movie on Indian cinemas, Hopefully if they somehow manage to release the maula’s story in India they will find a good audience there.
